Winter Warmth

As Fall dwindles into chilling cold, I like to boost the immune system with warming and healing spices.

Golden Turmeric Goodness

Ingredients: Organic if possible.

12oz. Milk of your choice (dairy or non-dairy)

1/4 teaspoon turmeric

1/4 teaspoon cinnamon 

a dash of ginger

a dash of clove

sweeten with honey to taste

The Steps: Heat the milk on stove and stir in spices and honey. Pour and enjoy. Super easy! Super dreamy!

Turmeric is the business. Curcumin is the active ingredient in turmeric, and it has powerful anti-inflamatory effects, and is loaded with antioxidants among many other wonderful qualities.

Hott Matcha

Ingredients: Organic if possible.

12oz. Milk of your choice

2 teaspoons matcha powder

sweeten with honey to taste

sprinkle of cinnamon on top (optional)

The Steps: Heat the milk on the stove and stir in the matcha powder and honey. Pour and sprinkle with a dash of cinnamon. 

Matcha is a high quality powdered green tea.  It is packed full of antioxidants, increases memory and concentration, increases your energy, burns calories, and detoxifies the body!
